Communiqué following a meeting on strengthening transparency in the system of sales of cars in Tashkent on August 4, 2017
In addition to the previously published information message on measures to ensure compliance with applicable laws in the field of anti-corruption and improving the sales system, we inform that on August 4 this year Uzavtosanoat JSC held an extended meeting with heads of dealer enterprises. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As a result of the meeting, a working group was created that was tasked with developing measures to further strengthen work to improve the car sales system, including by increasing the level of technical support for dealerships, introducing modern information and communication technologies into the work, and continuing to work on ensuring transparency car trading systems.
As part of a set of organizational measures, it is also planned to certify employees of dealerships, review the staff of employees and strengthen them, primarily employees whose immediate responsibilities include the sale of cars to the final consumer.
