A new modern welding shop has been commissioned at the UzAuto Motors plant in Asaka. For the first time, the construction of such a high-tech facility was carried out by Uzbek specialists without the involvement of foreign experts, which saved about $ 1 million. Commissioned at no additional cost and for long-term use, this shop demonstrates that UzAuto Motors is a platform for young professionals and their innovative achievements in the field of engineering.
The total area is 7,628 sq.m. The welding shop was established in the territory of the automobile plant in Asaka in a record time - in 23 days. This project allowed the introduction of new technologies in the business - laser welding (laser soldering) and Vision system, which controls the sealing of door joints. Also, in collaboration with experts from the Polytechnic University of Turin, a system of controlling the space of car doors was introduced. A modern EMS LK Hoist panel transportation system manufactured in the Republic of Korea has been mastered to deliver the body and parts to the assembly line, and the process of remote connection with the control panel has been automated.
The use of new energy-saving technologies has allowed the welding shop to optimize energy consumption - solar panels have been installed on the roof of the new shop to power new lamps and air exchange systems, which can significantly save electricity consumed during the day.
The production capacity of the new shop is 14 JPH, which will allow to produce an additional 60,000 cars per year. In addition, the launch of a new workshop at the plant has created 200 jobs.
One of the main advantages of the new welding shop is to increase production efficiency. Thus, the introduction of new car models will no longer affect the continuity of the production process, which in turn will increase the number of products produced.
