In recent days, a number of media outlets (expectedly located abroad) have distributed materials that distort the situation related to certificates for the purchase of cars in an extraordinary order issued to war veterans of 1941-1945. In addition, a number of the most popular communities of the Uzbek segment of the Facebook network carry out information stuffing of a similar nature in the form of posts.
In this regard, in order to prevent the further spread of an incorrect and sometimes distorted interpretation of this initiative, GM Uzbekistan JSC reports the following.
The action to issue certificates is carried out in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 4, 2017 No. 2865 "On measures for the preparation and conduct of events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Honors."
As part of the implementation of this government decision, 1,631 registered certificates were issued according to the lists provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Extrabudgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan for territorial distribution.
The dealer enterprises of GM Uzbekistan JSC (enterprises of the Uzavtotekhkhizmat LLC system), together with representatives of government bodies, defense departments, regional offices of the Nuroniy Foundation and other public organizations, issue certificates to war veterans of 1941-1945. with departure to the address of their residence.
The certificate is valid until December 31, 2017, i.e. The certificate holder can at any time convenient for him during 2017 to contact the dealer enterprises to purchase any model of a domestic car according to his request, in an extraordinary order. Not only veterans themselves can use these certificates, but also members of their families, as well as their guardians.
Cars are issued according to the presented certificates up to 3 days after payment. This period is clearly stated in each contract concluded on the basis of a personal certificate. It should be noted that out of 9 car models manufactured in Uzbekistan, the Captiva model only has a delivery time of no more than 3 months (due to the fact that these models are produced by the large-site assembly method and upon prior orders, taking into account delivery times, in contrast to fully localized ones basic models produced in full-scale assembly mode). At the same time, measures are being taken to ensure a reduction in the delivery time.
The contracts clearly spell penalties for improper execution or violation of its provisions by the plant, including the delivery time.
To date, there has not been a single case of delaying the conclusion of a contract or delivery of a car.
Thus, such kind of artificially and skillfully made-up pseudo-sensations and exaggerated messages, picked up by individual users of social networks (intentionally, or out of ignorance of the whole essence of the issue or ignorance) in the form of “angry posts”, are completely false and untrue.
GM Uzbekistan JSC and its team carefully treat veterans, honor their feat of life and therefore will not tolerate any flirting, manipulation or double approaches to this topic.
Any attempts to distort in any way the course of the sale of this action, to interpret it in a manner inappropriate to reality, we will consider as slander, the spread of false information and deliberate misleading of the public, respectively, this will be regarded as an encroachment on the honor and dignity of our company and its thousands of staff.
