Uz-Dong Won Co. Uzbek-Korean joint venture specializes in the production of exhaust systems, shockproof door beams and toolbar cross brackets for Nexia, Matiz, Spark and Gentra models manufactured by GM Uzbekistan JSC. The capacity of the enterprise today is 220 thousand sets per year. Currently, the team employs more than 450 people, of which 40% are college graduates.
JV Uz-Dong Won Co. equipped with modern and high-tech equipment manufactured by leading manufacturers in Korea and Japan. The production cycle consists of cutting, bending, forming pipes, the company is also equipped with automatic welding equipment using welding robots to assemble exhaust systems, shockproof door beams and transverse brackets of the instrument panel. In the production of exhaust systems, stainless and aluminized metal pipes are used, as well as high-quality sheet metal by foreign and local suppliers. The production cycle begins with the cutting, bending and molding of metal pipes on high-precision cutting and bending equipment. Next, the semi-finished products are transferred to the assembly line, where qualified welders perform the assembly process on automatic welding equipment.
The company has implemented a quality management system ISO 16949 and QSB, which guarantees the production of quality parts.
In accordance with the Decree of the President No. PP-2264 “On the Investment Program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015”, today the company is working on the development of the exhaust system, the transverse bracket of the instrument panel support, shockproof door beams and shockproof bumper beam of the new GM Uzbekistan project - “ T-250. " Additionally, work is underway on the development of shockproof door beams under the project "J-200" (Gentra).
