A Plant For The Production Of Bicycles And Motorcycles Opened In The Namangan Region
On February 27, in the city of Naryn, Namangan Region, Uzavtosanoat JSC launched the production of bicycles.
An agreement on the organization of production was signed between Uzavtosanoat JSC and Lifan Group Co. Ltd, which acts as a supplier of components for manufactured products.
Recall that in August 2018, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the need to increase the production of bicycles, the number of bike paths and the popularization of bicycle trains, which in general contributed to the creation of this production.
The initial production volume is about 150 thousand per year with a phased increase.
This project is included in the Investment Program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019, in which it is planned to attract 200 thousand US dollars of investments.
In the future, Norin Moto Bike LLC will produce motorcycles, tricycles, scooters and mopeds at the production facilities of the plant.
It should be noted that the employees of the Norin Moto Bike factory had an internship in China before starting production. The new plant made it possible to employ more than 150 people in the area with a further increase of up to 500 jobs.
