The Leading College Of South Korea And The Turin Polytechnical University In Tashkent Sign A Memorandum On Cooperation

On January 18, the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with one of South Korea’s leading colleges, Ajou motor, which trains specialists in the automotive industry.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the president of Ajou motor college Shin Sung Ho and the rector of the Turin Polytechnic University K. Sharipov.

As part of the memorandum, an agreement was reached on cooperation in educational and innovative work in several areas of the automotive industry. In particular, as part of the development of innovative startups, the parties agreed to cooperate in such areas as car design, architecture, control system, electronics, diagnostics and navigation of main lines.

The memorandum provides for the exchange of personnel: teachers and professors, as well as university and college students. In addition, the parties planned the organization of business trips and joint international conferences.

After signing the memorandum, the leadership of the Korean delegation met with the chairman of Uzavtosanoat JSC. Issues of the application of Korean practice in educational institutions of Uzbekistan were discussed. In addition, the issues of developing a 2-year curriculum of the educational system in vocational colleges, which are envisaged to be placed at the disposal of Uzavtosanoat, were considered.

In addition, the Korean delegation visited the Tashkent Polytechnic Museum, the Uzavtosanoat training ground in Pskent, as well as GMPT.

Ajou motor college, created at the initiative of the Korean company Daewoo, makes a huge contribution to the development of the automotive industry in South Korea. The educational institution that prepares specialists for companies such as Hundai, GM Korea and Kia Motors is located in the center of the country where the automotive industry is developed. Today, the educational institution is working on the creation of hybrid, intelligent and electric vehicles.
